David Ayscue & Friends
David Ayscue & Friends
David Ayscue is an LA-based singer/songwriter and recent graduate of USC's Thornton School of Music. His smooth voice and bouncy, intricate guitar-playing style recall the works of songwriters like James Taylor and John Mayer, while his songs paint vivid portraits of his life as a young adult — the loves, characters, anxieties and adventures that have colored his journey so far.
Simply Put
Simply Put
Borderless & original, Simply Put.

Simply Put could be described as an indie band startup that infuses the singer-songwriter genre with hints of soul, alt-country, and modern-folk.

Simply Put features Lauren Wahl's songwriting, which renders itself to sharing both personal and fictional character's stories, while the band provides a funky and fun sound both unique and inviting.

Musical talent abounds in this band: Mariah Roberts rocks a soulful fiddle, Justin Hambly (of Justin Hambly and the Heavy Hand) plays captivating guitar riffs and solos, and Dylan Short's energetic talent on keys is simply awe-inspiring. Local musician Mike Kelly (of Sasha's Money) drives the set with catchy electric bass riffs, and drummer Zen Perry expertly frames the songs with both technical skill and the ability to "feel" the music. Each member comes to Simply Put as an experienced musician with a long list of credentials on their own. Together this young band effortlessly blends pulsing rhythm, sweet harmonies and warm counter melodies to create a powerhouse vehicle driving a musical narrative.
The Crucibles
The Crucibles
The Crucibles were formed in 2017 by coworkers Larkin Brown (vocals), Alex Rhee (lead guitar), Colin Probasco (rhythm guitar/keys), Ahsan Ashraf (bass guitar) and Alanna Iverson (drums). With artists ranging from Amy Winehouse and The Killers to Cream and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the band features a wide range of songs that are aimed to induce nostalgia for your formative years. While they may be a band of nerds, the Crucibles are sure to entertain you more than the random Tinder date you brought to the show.
