WOLFCHILD
WOLFCHILD
Seattle’s WOLFCHILD is a collective of musicians blending the worlds of lyrical dreamy-folk music with the dramatic cinematic swells of Pink Floyd-esque alt-rock. Frontman Gabriel Wolfchild spent his early years cutting his teeth as an acoustic singer-songwriter and became known for his tenderly poetic and at times tragic style that allows listeners to open up, dive deep, and explore the full extent of their own emotional passageways. His songwriting is met with ethereal 4 piece vocal harmonies, soaring horn bellows, gravity-defying guitar, and potent percussion and bass lines to create an immersive sound that blurs the line between rock show and performance art.

I make music because I feel it transcends language, expressing the intangible feelings that we try so desperately to explain with words. It is storytelling, therapy and a kind of spiritual communion all in one. The most vulnerable side of myself is expressed.”

Little did she know, at age 6 when her father gifted her a bass and introduced her to funk and soul music, Zoe Winter starting a life long journey of musical exploration. Her first show was at the age of eight in San Francisco, and she has since taken every opportunity to play every where she goes, solo and in bands from California to Thailand, wowing crowds with her soulful voice and dark ominous beauty.

Zoe is now nestled in the mountains of Ojai, CA, working on her first solo effort. Gifted her first acoustic guitar in 2017, she was called to begin writing and finding her own musical voice, self proclaimed Folk-gaze. She is digging deep and humbly hoping to “show people what [she] has to offer, [her] sound and [her] spirit. To share with people all the music that [she’s] collected and the endless stories [she] has lived thus far
