Jack Symes
Jack Symes
Inspired by artists like Van Morrison and Mason Jennings, Symes creates an electric blend of acoustic and indie-folk ballads packed with lyrics that can take one away to a simmering fireside. Symes released his debut EP Gargoyles back in December, followed up with his single Roll Me Away this past March, and is hoping for a second EP release sometime this year. Covering most of the western US, Jack recently wrapped up his first tour of the west coast with long-time collaborator and friend Nat Lefkoff. Symes is now working on a full-length album “Songs for Moms” at Brushfire Studios in Los Angles, release date TBD.

"Jack Symes is a California-based singer/songwriter who got in touch with us via email to send us his latest single, Set Me Free. We gave it a listen and within 20 seconds we were hooked. A blues-inspired, indie-folk ballad, Set Me Free is a wonderful introduction to Jack’s powerful, quivering vocals and emotive song-writing abilities. We’re certainly very excited to hear more from this young man and after listening to Set Me Free, we think you will too."
Skin and Bones
Skin and Bones
Skin & Bones is comprised of Taylor Borsuk on guitar, vocals, and suitcase drum with Peter Blackwelder on violin. The Americana duo defined themselves street performing on the salty boardwalk of Venice Beach and continue to grow as musicians as they travel the country. The duo supported Jackie Greene, lead guitarist of the former Black Crowes, on the western leg of his tour. Their well-received E.P. “Ghost in This Town” was released in February, and the momentum is continued with its successor, “Wait No More”. With a sold out record release show at the Hotel Café, and continued positive press Skin & Bones is garnering attention in the Americana music scene. The guys traveled to Nashville TN over summer to record their debut full length record at The Bomb Shelter. The record was produced by Jon Estes (Steelism, John Paul White, Ben Sollee) and mixed by Andrija Tokic (The Alabama Shakes, The Deslondes, Langhorne Slim). Record to be released in 2018.
