Greg Hoy & The Boys
Greg Hoy & The Boys
Time Out New York says 'Hoy's clear-eyed rock is fueled by straight-up melodicism.'

The Deli Magazine says 'It’s nice to be reminded that AC/DC and Black Flag essentially both started with dirtbags who like loud amps...fits nicely into the company of artists from the previous decade such as Urge Overkill and Guided by Voices who fashioned Arena rock for VFW Halls.'

Punk Planet says 'Fortified with 10 essential hooks that'll bounce through your head well after the disc's end.'

Pittsburgh Post Gazette says 'A power-pop explosion fueled by hooks you'll swear must grow on trees outside the singer's Brooklyn window.' (Masley)

International Cork says 'Muscular with brains, brainy with muscle, Greg Hoy writes the kind of left-of-the-dial rock that the repeat button on your cd player was designed for.'

The Big Takeover says 'Hoy has to be the best power-pop record I've ever heard recorded entirely by one person. Is he for real? You keep glancing at the sleeve notes, thinking the man must be joshing, taking credit for others' playing, because Hoy betrays no veneer or vestige of such a solitary, necessarily piece-meal installments project. What it sounds like is a rockin' quartet, with Hoy's full-throated singing leading the charge. This is power-pop with big guitar crunch, some real back-beat presence, and encircling guitars, bold melodies and no hint of boyish niceties or polite mannerism....Sign me up for the next gig, and see you in the front row.' (Jack Rabid)
Little Petie & the Mean Old Men
Little Petie & the Mean Old Men
Little Petie & The Mean Old Men is a straight-ahead rock band from Santa Cruz, California. Mixing influences of classic rock and punk with catchy melodic harmonies and a garage rock ethic, Little Petie & The Mean Old Men are leading the charge to reinvigorate people with Rock and Roll.

Little Petie & the Mean Old Men have just finished their first offering, the EP 'Santa Cruz Speedball'. The band will be returning to the studio at the end of the year to start work on their first full length album due out in March of 2018.

"Tuff Sunshine is one of the most dynamic, energizing and altogether rousing bands out there" -- Stereo Embers Magazine

"A catchy, sunny blend of rustic rock 'n roll and power-pop hooks" -- PopMatters

"Grand vision--loss and transcendence are given equal weight with a sound that exists outside the convenience of pigeonhole tags and pretentious micro sub-genre adjectives"
-- Impose Magazine

Tuff Sunshine is a 3-piece pared-down indie-rock trio that Time-Out New York accurately describes as "cool, emotive indie fare that skillfully fuses funky soul with wiry post-punk." The band features Johnny Leitera (guitar/vocals), Linda Pitmon (drums/backing vocals) and Turner Stough (bass). Those online offering critical praise include PopMatters, The Big Takeover, Magnet Magazine, My Old Kentucky Blog, The Huffington Post, Tom Tom Magazine, Obscure Sound, and the Australian blog Happpy, among others. The band were AOL/Spinner.com's "Download Of The Day" and were prominently featured by Nic Harcourt ("America's most influential DJ") on his nationally-syndicated "Connections" radio show. They have been named a "NYC Band You Oughta Know" by stagebuddy.com and "New Band of the Day" by the UK blog Louder Than War.
