Jeff Beam
Jeff Beam
Jeff Beam is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter from Portland, Maine. He writes, performs, records, & releases melodic music tinged with kaleidoscopic soundscapes, inspired by the likes of Olivia Tremor Control, Elliott Smith, Deerhunter, & Grizzly Bear. His recordings are generally a one-man odyssey; his live shows generally revolve between an energetic band of his good friends.

Musically, Beam seeks to fuse together unorthodox pop melody with interesting sound textures & colorful instrumentation.

Jeff Beam has played with Spoon, The New Pornographers, Big Thief, Chris Cohen, Nat Baldwin (Dirty Projectors), Eleanor Friedberger (Fiery Furnaces), Robert Schneider (Apples In Stereo), Deer Tick, Marco Benevento, Sam Roberts Band, Jefferson Starship, White Hinterland, and many others. Also, he was once in the same room as Joe Biden and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
At the same time.
Afraïd
Afraïd
Afraïd is a family band built on a mutual love for heavy metal, psychedelics, blacklight posters, Ralph Bakshi films, and the occult.

They are as obsessed with the dark, spacy one-off ballads of Dio, Sabbath, and Zeppelin as they are with the droning, hypnotic influences of La Monte Young and Spacemen 3, and attempt to build their own world upon the shadowy middle ground between the two.

'Sinister Vibes', the group's first album, was released in March of 2015 by the West Virginian label Crash Symbols. 'Eternal Motherfucker II', a split with Maine-based electronic visionary Jared Fairfield, followed in fall 2016 on the state's own Pretty Purgatory label.
Nick Shattuck
Nick Shattuck
Born and raised in the blue collar Mississippi River communities of Western Wisconsin, Nick Shattuck adapted a bare bones, blues influenced honesty in his singing and songwriting from the start. Relocating to Southern California in the fall of 2011 with a bag full of folk/soul songs that liken him to a pleasant combination of Ray LaMontagne and John Mayer, Nick has quickly made a name for himself in the cut throat singer/songwriter community of L.A. With his new single, "The Stars",garnering over 110,000 Spotify plays, Nick continues to share his indie folk songs while supporting talented acts as Howie Day, Matt Costa, Sea Wolf, Meiko, and more! While he now calls Southern California home, Nick continues to use his inspiration from the Midwest to write songs from the soul, intimate and often emotional depictions of his day to day encounters and experiences.
