Born out of the American rock tradition, Allofasudden has grown into a powerful band both live and on record. Since 2006, they have built a reputation throughout California known for their driving rhythms, fiery guitar playing, and layered harmonies.

"Unafraid to play big, there's something of '70s Santana to them but also the bump of New Orleans soulrock and no small part of pure jam culture exploration...bands often get timid when climbing musical mountains but such grand scale grappling seems their natural pocket." - Dennis Cook, Associate Editor, Jambase.com

AOS's sophomore effort, Drink the Ocean (available 5/24/11), is a complex and cohesive album that incorporates large sounds, dark themes and instrumental exploration. The addition of Nathan Cole (keys) and Art McConnel (drums), has allowed the songwriting to mature and AOS uses this to their advantage as heard on the first two singles. "Drove All Night", a modern surf song, captures the fearless joys of the ocean as well as the bitter intensity of traversing building swells. The dark but uplifting second single, "Sweetheart Trees" proclaims "This is my dream, I can do anything". A truly epic rock anthem, it reels you in you with its surging hooks and a soaring instrumental coda.
The Coffis Brothers
The Coffis Brothers
The Coffis Brothers & The Mountain Men are a Rock and Roll band born and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Songwriters Jamie and Kellen Coffis are backed by Kyle Poppen on lead guitar, Mason Hutchinson on bass and Henry Chadwick (My Stupid Brother) on drums.

The Coffis Brothers boast an extensive repertoire of original rock and blues tunes built around simple and honest lyrics, neatly constructed verses and catchy hooks. The brother’s blend of folk, blues, R&B and straight ahead rock are evidence of an upbringing spent listening to Tom Petty, Neil Young, and Beatles records.

Their debut full length album was self titled and released in 2011. They followed up with a 2012 release of an E.P titled “Waiting For You.”

"...His sound, a fusion of rock, blues, and R&B, is a direct reflection of Jones himself. Warm, easygoing, and genuine, he embodies the feeling of the music he makes. With the meatiness of George Thorogood, the grittiness of Chris Robinson, and sultriness of Ben Harper, Jones' sound has real dimension. Live, Jones is a natural. His engaging stage presence alone is proof that he's at ease and confident with who he is as a musician.

Raised in a Baptist family of musicians, he grew up singing gospel and playing piano in his grandma's house. "On my dad's side are the Baptists, so singing and playing piano at home was huge - there was always a piano being played," he says. After trying out a number of instruments, Jones settled on the versatility of a guitar. Problem was, he only knew three chords and only had Clapton's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" in his repertoire. "I would play that song ad nauseum," he admits. "And my roommate at the time told me to learn something else or move out. So with those three chords I started to write my own songs, and the rest is history."
