Jade VELVET
Jade VELVET
Jade VELVET was created by the lead singer/songwriter, Jade Way, at the end of 2016. Through a compilation of R&B/Soul/Pop sounds, Jade's lyrics explore the meanings of being lost and found in the Bay. Influenced by the work of Corinne Bailey Rae, The Foreign Exchange, Genesis, Bossa Nova, Childish Gambino, Lauryn Hill and more, Jade has been writing songs over the last 5-years, performing in venues such as: Feinstein's at the Nikko, The Uptown, El Rio, Bazaar Cafe, Octopus Literary Salon and more. Jade VELVET is comprised of Jade Way (lead vocals and rhythm guitar) Jake Peake (keyboardist), Issielle "Ice" Johnson (lead guitarist), Jayson Ehm (drums) and Graham Riggoli (bass guitar). Jade VELVET is here to deliver some luscious soul grooves and will leave you wanting more.

Samantha Sipin
Small-time and small-statured Samantha Sipin is ready to sing all the things in her heart and on her mind. Those things typically revolve around love, but have lately revolved around resistance. As a queer person of color, she hopes to create and share the type of music that empowers and consoles those who are rightfully outraged and saddened by the state of our world.
