The Procrastinistas
The Procrastinistas
The Procrastinistas are a San Francisco band who have gigged exclusively at Hotel Utah for the past six years. They play an eclectic mix of alternative rock, with influences from soul, reggae, and jazz. Lead vocalist Cass Arnold sings sultry melodies over the band's sometimes brooding, sometimes aggressive chord changes. You'll be smiling and your foot tapping well before the first chorus kicks in.
The Blue Hours
The Blue Hours
We are a group of musicians and artists who create work inspired by the idea that everyone has a gift and can use it creatively.
All of our members have some sort of basis in or ties to San Francisco. Our music and art likes to play with the juxtaposition of contrasting forms and ideas, including world, pop and classical music, painting, photography, and video.
Tortoise and The Wolfe
Tortoise and The Wolfe
Tortoise and The Wolfe is an Oakland based acoustic duo, an up and coming addition to the vibrant Bay Area music scene. Mixing elements of folk and indie styles, their original songs tell stories and share memories. Guitarist Tory Levine-Hall was born and raised in Oakland and singer Sarah Wolfe was born and raised in Vermont before moving to the Bay Area in 2012. While not as cool as an actual wolf and tortoise singing folk songs, Tortoise and The Wolfe comes in a close second.
