Rebecca Mimiaga
Born and Raised in California, Becky Mimiaga has been studying voice since age 11. She started writing and performing her own music at age 16, while fronting various rock, folk and blues bands. She spent two years studying classical voice at Skidmore College before transferring to the New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. There, she completed her BFA in Vocal Performance studies.

Her debut EP Words in the Dark features strong, intimate voice and piano songs and orchestral arrangements. When she's not Rebecca Mimiaga, She is the voice of LOUIZA, her loud indie-rock project.

Their sound is both vintage and fresh, with original tunes drawing on modern subject matter and building off of classic blues progressions.
