Oddly Even
Oddly Even
Oddly Even began as a duo and was formed by Calvin Sturges and Ashley Macachor in 2011. Taking their time, the pair explored the intermeshing of their musical tastes, and a sound of their connection began to take shape. They self-released their first, self-titled ep in 2015, which was recorded at home on their 8-track. Recently joined by Star Quach on keyboard, the group has now found their footing as a trio and recently released their second ep titled, 'Hills", which was recorded with Ian Pellicci at New, Improved Recording. The group also worked closely with Grapefruit Studio (London, UK) on the production and mix for the ep. They are currently writing and developing new material for their first full-length album release.

"....the chapters of their own self-styled cinematic folk sounds carry forward like pages in an open book that are turned by the gentle hands of a wayward Bay breeze." Sjimon Gompers, Week In Pop, Impose Magazine
The Lickets
The Lickets
The Lickets are two audio-visual artists (Mitch Greer and Rachel Smith) from the East Bay, who play electroacoustic ambient music, described as a “transcendental mini orchestra.” Recordings and performances are adventurous, unpredictable and have included different combinations of instruments, including electronics, minimoog, woodwinds, sitar, guitar, classical strings, and harmonium. Lestrygonian, KZSU DJ, says of the experimental folk duo: "Sentient beings of all ages are guaranteed to fall in love with the sunshiney, blissful waves of ethereal, hushed tones looping into what feels like infinity..."
