Pebble Theory
Pebble Theory
Pebble Theory is San Francisco rock mixed with pop, folk, urban...The band formed in 2000 something when Tim (guitar) and Eros (vox/guitar) met through mutual friends of friends. Eventually the group ran into Nick (bass) who was working at the store every musician loves to hate. They met Seabrien (drums) in the local scene. We make music that we care about. People tell us "you can sing to it", "it makes you think" - it def makes us think - "it's somehow familiar, but you can't put your finger on it"...listen and we hope you enjoy...

Hurricane Thursday (closing set)
The funk-rock-driven melodies of Hurricane Thursday emerged when band members Phil Remer (guitar), Andy Levine (bass), Will Kohut (drums), and Jonathan Lancaster (tenor sax) came together in San Francisco in the Fall of 2011. Inspiration from funk and alt-rock bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers mixes with stylistic cues from reggae bands such as The Expendables and New Orleans funk/jazz influences like Galactic to create the basis for Hurricane Thursday’s unique sound. Their energetic live shows are known for packing the dance floors of local SF music venues.
